Whitley Danielle

Her name is Whitley Danielle Smith. She attends college and is double majoring in Studio Art and Business. Lately, Whitley has been in a tug-of-war battle on what she would like to start a business in; does she pursue photography or painting? Only time will tell and she is enjoying each and every minute of the hunt.

Whitley did her first mural in her mother's kitchen in McKinney, TX in 2008. The mural was not what she typically liked to paint but people continue to come into the kitchen and ask who did the painting and are amazed at the detail and warmth it adds to the room. Her mother asked for grape vines to curve around a column between the living room and kitchen and then sweep across the cieling. Ever since then, her parents and friends have been pushing for her to share her gift and consider making it her business.

Whitley enjoys going out with friends, competing in volleyball leagues in Dallas, and playing piano. She has one dog that she treats like her child and works part-time as a private nanny for two amazing little boys.

Why Children Rooms & Nurseries?

Whitley has made it her mission to work with children when she's searched for jobs. The past three years she's worked in Church nurseries, schools, summer camps, and day cares. Being around kids is not a job to her and children seem to warm up to Whitley with ease. She enjoys sitting down and collaborating with the young ones not only because they have tons of creative ideas, but because they know exactly what they want and their personality pours out onto the pages. The inner child in Whitley makes this possible but do not be fooled, she is capable of being the responsible and mature business professional needed to make the parents happy also.

Who She Is

Whitley is the sole owner/operator/creative mind at Whitley Danielle Design. Her experience consists of multiple completed paintings and college are classes. Whitley Danielle Design was founded in August of 2009. She decided to make her business stand out and throw it into the eyes of the public to push the boundaries and see how far this gift can really take her.
